Governance

Bishopthorpe Bowling Club is registered with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) as a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC No. 01767).  It is affiliated to Bowls England (BE), the sport's national governing body, and follows its rules and regulations.

The Club is managed by a Committee, which is appointed each year at the Annual General Meeting to administer the Club's day-to-day affairs on behalf of its members.  See the Club Officers page on this website for details of the current post-holders.
