2-Wood Pairs Competition

Saturday 1 August 2026

This is a Club competition, open to ladies and gentlemen, in which the pairings are drawn on a random basis. This year's competition will be played on Saturday 1 August 2026.

The 2025 competition was organised by the Competitions Secretary, Tony Hick. There were four leagues with the winners of each going on to the semi-finals. With 26 entries, this meant one league had 4 teams and played each other for 5 ends and the others had 3 teams who played each other for 7 ends.

The matches were played on a lovely sunny afternoon, much enjoyed by everyone, and followed by a buffet tea.

The winners were Margaret Sackville & Gerry O'Keefe and the runners-up Helen Lawrence & Tony Hick.
