Repairs to Ditch Walls

We have been working hard to repair and re-align ditch walls on two sides of the green, where rotten posts needed replacing and edging boards re-aligning. The team involved, Gerry O'Keefe, David Wharton-Smith and Martin Prime, are hoping that this phase of the work can be completed with a couple more days work during the next week or two. Paving will then need to be re-aligned and the protective felt re-attached to the boarding. With more than 40 hours work having been done to date, this has been a substantial project and thanks are due to Gerry, David & Martin for their hard work. A longer term solution to the ditch walls will be looked at in our five year plan.
